The 2020 Senate Election Guide for Lazy Activists (and Donators)

There are currently 35 Senate seats up for election on November 3, 2020.

Twenty-three seats are currently held by Republicans and twelve are held by Democrats.

I've been scouring the entire internet for resources to highlight exactly how to flip the Senate blue in 2020. I was googling: Which races were close? Who needed money? Who all was running? What date were the primaries? — and was getting no comprehensive results. ZILCH.

So, I fixed that. I created a comprehensive web tool for nationwide Democrats (and progressive Independents) to use throughout 2020. This guide shows which seats are held by Republicans that we can flip and seats held by Democrats that we need to fight to hold. The guide itself is a living and continually evolving tool and will be continually updated as each state's Democratic Primary Election occurs and exact nominees tighten through the spring working towards the Tuesday, November 3, 2020 General Election date.

The intention of the guide is to help easily enform the progressive masses and to help better direct individual donations in the right locations. For example, I live in Illinois and we are a very blue state. Strategically, it makes more sense to allocate my resources (time and money) into Senate races outside of my state that need more Democratic support. For instance, in Kentucky where Amy McGrath is running hard to unseat Mitch McConnell. You'll get a birds-eye-view of *all* of that in the guide.

If you want to add more details (or information about nearing 2024 Senate seat races) send information our way through this questionnaire.

Let's strategically come together as Democrats and all progressives to change the makeup of the Senate. Democracy and truth is worth fighting for.
